Jan (pronouns: he/him, she/her in Drag) is an apparel designer currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has been in the apparel industry for over 8 years and has an extensive experience not only in the corporate setting, but also in start up companies, theatre industry, and even bridal couture. At the moment, he specializes in, but not limited to, Menswear contemporary design. Currently, he works for lululemon doing jersey knits, cut and sew wovens, fully-fashion knits for their Lifestyle line. He is also leading the Men’s Golf apparel section of lululemon. His extensive experience in different types of creative environment has given him a skill to understand how to work collaboratively and inject innovation in everything he does. For him, being a designer is a good listener, problem solver, and innovator. Pushing boundaries and creating beautiful functional products are at Jan’s top of the list whenever given a project.
