arc’teryx veilance
I started working with Arc’teryx Veilance as an Engineering Technician. This position allowed me to expand my knowledge working with factories, pattern drafting, product costing, labour costs, and people management. I was responsible for validating product cost per labour, building production line layouts with the Production Engineer, and creating Sequence of Construction Manuals to be followed by factory workers. This way we can cut cost while we efficiently and sustainably develop our products and meet company margins. I learned how to use the PLM system and even master the Excel Sheets while working with the Veilance line, I got to closely work with Designers, Developers, Pattern Engineers and even a Production Engineer.
